Job Description:

Vice President, National PFAS Sales Executive

Parsons is looking for a PFAS Sales Executive to join our team! We are seeking a recognized Leader to lead our growth strategy and sales execution for both our Critical Infrastructure and Federal Segments.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing external customer-focused strategies to increase our business line market share and build our brand and reputation in the municipal water and environmental remediation markets focused on PFAS related opportunities. As a key member of the business development management team, you will provide overall leadership to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. Through leadership and collaboration with local market line managers, this role is responsible for maintaining and growing Parsons’ reputation as a leader in the municipal water and environmental remediation markets, including developing and growing the geographic market by effectively partnering with top customer/agency leaders and forming strategic industry alliances. The PFAS Sales Executive will be responsible for driving strategic growth and technical delivery of PFAS planning, design, treatment, and remediation services across public, private, and federal sectors within North America. This is a senior leadership position and will lead the strategy and growth of the Company's PFAS business across its national footprint.

North America travel may be required - up to 40% predominately for client interface, conferences, and technical briefings.

  • Account Development and Key Pursuits - experience in developing major accounts; ability to lead key pursuits and achieve annual sales targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the PFAS Sales Executive for Parsons

  • Engage with municipal water market clients to grow PFAS market share

  • Lead the development of the national strategy for PFAS for public, private, and federal sector clients

  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop PFAS business growth strategies and support business opportunity pipeline growth

  • Work with regional leadership to ensure the right resources are in place to execute the PFAS strategy (includes the Company's internal PFAS training program for staff)

  • Market and promote our PFAS technical capabilities and build/develop strong relationships with clients.

  • Interact regularly with clients, teaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders linked to PFAS and working across the Parsons Ecosystem, develop solutions to solve the challenges faced because of PFAS

  • Development and approval of major PFAS pursuits and provide oversight of capture plans that align with the business development strategy and technical capabilities

  • Expand our current research and development strategy for collaborative studies with water/wastewater utilities, private sector, and universities as well as develop Parsons existing laboratory capabilities to develop leading edge solutions in the PFAS and emerging contaminants space.

  • Work with Water leadership to develop sales strategy as well as directly assist on procurements including strategy development, client engagement plans, and proposal development,

  • Draw in technical expertise from across the organization (and external partner network) to support winning strategies on PFAS pursuits

  • Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions, and guide achievement of cost of sales, gross margin, backlog, and other related financial and business goals

  • Support the identification and mitigation of risks and commercial terms during the pursuit process

  • Support the Company's client satisfaction program assuring satisfaction with Company services and interacting with project delivery personnel to ensure client expectations are met and service issues are avoided and/or addressed in a proactive manner

  • Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensure client focus, demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivate others to ensure positive morale and engagement.

  • Coordinate with Technical Communities of Practice to align skills with market trends and to drive strategic technical leadership hires

  • Engage in the technical delivery or review of work and/or project management, as appropriate and as needed

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • MS degree civil, environmental or chemical engineering, or related field

  • Expertise with PFAS environmental rules, regulations, and future trends

  • Established client relationships in the municipal water market

  • Experience: 15 years of related business development experience, 25 years of professional and project management experience in consulting engineering firm

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

  • Professional registration

  • Experience meeting operational and sales goals.

  • Proven Business Development experience with PFAS and emerging contaminants in a design consulting firm

  • Leadership position in a water or remediation-related technical, non-profit or trade association

  • Strategic planning experience

  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and treatment of PFAS in water, wastewater, groundwater, sediments, and soil

  • Business acumen related to project and company financials and risk management

  • Understanding of sales pipeline health and sales/backlog metrics

Salary Range:

$179,800.00 - $343,700.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
