Parsons is seeking an experienced Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) Officer to provide security support for government customer. The ATFP Officer is a security professional who provides a variety of support relating to force protection, physical security countermeasures, contingency planning, and response force exercise coordination efforts. The ATFPO shall provide for the planning and implementation of new and modification of existing integrated electronic and IT based physical security management systems for use at government facilities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments of government related facilities and prepare detailed findings documentation for review and approval
Monitor emergency activity alerts and emerging threats to brief government personnel and assist in site protection activities
Provide recommendations, using risk management principles, for sound mitigation techniques using proven and field-tested systems
Interact and coordinate activities related to ATFP with a wide variety of headquarters and field offices for proper integration and implementation of developed plans, with review and approval of the government
Conduct ATFP review for modifications to existing facilities and for the acquisition of Government-owned and leased facilities supporting customer missions; preparing detailed reporting documentation, to include assessment findings, prioritized recommendations, and related guidance for NRO approval
Work with various security and facilities staffs to ensure the use of ATFP best practices in acquisition, lease, or modification government facilities
Plan and conduct USG approved AT/PSC/CP exercises and related training
Provide professional briefings and indoctrinations to military and civilian audiences at various organizational levels
Conduct policy research, and make recommendations, covering new tactics, techniques, and procedures
Perform short-term (90 days or less) Temporary Duty (TDY) CONUS and OCUNUS travel
Conduct market research and investigate existing, new and emerging technologies as directed by the Government
Provide technical guidance to government staff in technical reviews of security and ATFP equipment and system solutions
Perform ATFP representative and liaison functions at technical meetings, symposiums/conferences and working groups
Must possess a current TC/SCI w poly clearance.
BA/BS in a related technical or military discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
8+ years of related experience in physical security administration, preferably in the government contracting industry
Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO) Certification Level II and Interagency Security Committee (ISC) training after onboarded.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
