Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a great client and to join a dependable, highly ethical organization? Parsons is seeking a Principal Project Manager for a national design and construction management program.
Role(s) & Responsibilities
The Task 6 Lead leads the definition and documentation of the database architecture to be used for this task. Task 6 Team Lead is the Scrum Master for the effort. Provides technical guidance to junior Database Administrators while implementing this task; Supervises and ensures that the implementation is in line with the documented database architecture; Captures discrepancies and ensures that they are worked to the appropriate priority; Provides team status/metrics to Leadership/Customer as required; Coaches the Scrum team and Product Owner to enhance performance; Facilitates Scrum events effectively and repeatably; Protects team from interruptions; Makes work visible to the team and stakeholders; Ensure impediments are removed.
Additional Task 6 Team Lead responsibilities:
Performs CAM duties
Participates in Team Scrum events and Scrum of Scrums
Education and Certificates
- 4-year degree in Computer Science (or related curriculum)
At least 15 years of experience in database architecture, systems analysis or programming utilizing specialized languages with 5+ years in a leadership role on a project (or an equivalent combination of work experience and education). At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master. Understanding of Data Modeling and DB Architecture. Experience working in Cloud environments.
A thorough understanding of database applications and technology for mission operations.
Strong leadership ability and demonstrated successful performance in a leadership role.
Ability to work effectively with Senior and Executive level management.
Ability to manage and track deliverables across several work groups.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak with authority on technical issues in various professional settings
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
