How will we achieve that goal? We’re going to tell stories! Stories about how our technologies are revolutionizing things like cybersecurity, missile defense and designing futuristic infrastructure around the world. Our Social Media Manager will be one of the most important storytellers among our growing team of marketing professionals. He/she will help develop our social media strategy and lead the non-stop implementation of high-profile campaigns that elevate Parsons presence in the social media universe.

Need

Our Social Media Manager will bring a combination of expertise in leveraging social media channels and the ability to communicate how our highly complex technologies make the world safer and more efficient. He/she will work directly with our company’s leaders and hundreds of subject matter experts to proactively promote our stories to audiences around the world.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, creative, analytical, and collaborative, and at the forefront of social media and digital trends. The successful candidate will lead and drive the strategy to expand Parsons social media presence and improve user engagement. This role will be responsible for designing, creating, executing, measuring and continually improving our strategies across social platforms, including developing creative, compelling social content,to drive brand awareness, comprehension, and advocacy for Parsons.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5-10 years of marketing/communications experience with significant hands-on social media experience working on a customer-facing brand

  • Agency experience a plus

  • Demonstrated track record of developing content programs that drive measurable audience growth and user engagement across multiple social channels and different target audiences

  • Demonstrated track record of building communities, driving brand affinity, understanding and engagement through social media

  • Excellent communicator with strong, succinct writing skills, and the ability to easily and authentically adopt a brand's voice
