Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr Software Integration Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on state-of-the-art platform services and integrated hybrid solutions, supporting our US Space Force customer.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading a team of software integration engineers to design and maintain an OpenShift or like framework that meets both customer requirements and overall business goals.

  • Provide oversight and guidance of software deliveries.

  • Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of applications.

  • Utilizing automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, or similar tools to integrate a seamless process that takes applications from development through testing and into operations.

  • Deep dive discovery and performance assessments on existing application integration processes.

  • In depth integration of COTS/GOTS/FOSS applications into designated frameworks.

  • Participating in technical discussions to assist in planning future integration efforts.

  • Collaborate with the team and customer to ensure Integration, Test, and Validation processes align with organizational goals as well as customer needs.

  • Provide technical guidance on containerization practices, microservices architecture, and system scalability.

  • Improve overall application integration, testing and validation processes and continuously find ways to modernize and improve performance.

  • Ensure that all systems function together as an integrate system.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree & 10+ years of relate experience or Master’s degree & 8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related.

  • Technical team leadership to include technical decision making and continual customer interaction.

  • Proficiency in containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines.

  • Python skills for scripting/automation on an open framework such as MDPAF.

  • ELK Stack – For Cybersecurity, SE, Test, Infrastructure assessment.

  • Linux and/or Windows development lifecycles.

  • Working experience in Linux and Windows environments.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • USSF FORGE MDPAF development and/or architecture experience.

  • Experience in Mission integration and operations.

  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environment.

  • DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.

  • Integration experience in hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).

  • OPIR and MDPAF experience.

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
