Parsons Corporation Software Engineer Intern - Space Systems in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Description:

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (will be reporting to the physical office location - no ability for remote work).

Let's talk about what you'll be doing:

Parsons, a leader in Space Systems Technology development, is actively seeking summer interns to work on our engineering team.

We offer hands on access to leading Space Systems Technology and a great work culture. Your responsibilities will vary and may include working on a Space Application using Windows and/or Linux. You will be reporting to various engineering team leads.

Here's What We're Looking for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible for a government security clearance which requires proof of US citizenship

  • Student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics

  • Rising Junior or Senior preferably

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience/knowledge of Java or C++, Linux, and general Object Oriented (OO) software design fundamentals

  • Experience using IDEs like Eclipse, Netbeans, or Visual Studio

  • Self-driven and motivated

  • Should have strong written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge of CM tools such as Git or Mercurial

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $52,000.00.Benefits for this position include: 401k.
