Job Description:

Parsons' Space and Geospatial Solutions team is looking for a sharp GRM DevSecOps engineer to support the systems integration and test engineers who deploy and integrate mission partner and non-mission partner EGS (Enterprise Ground Services) into various cloud and on-premise EGS platforms. The GRM DevSecOps engineer assists integration engineers that test the integrated GRM to ensure it functions correctly, interfaces correctly with other EGS services (e.g., scheduling software, crypto, GOTS products, COTS products, CDSs, and antenna provider equipment), and provides the proper services as required for operational use by mission partners. Individual will interface with various teams, DevOps, Engineering, Integration, COTS, comparable but parallel Ops teams and client/customer.

Responsibilities - Essential Functions

  • Analysis, creation, or modification of scripts and software development skills are desired to support system development, configuration, and integration activities

  • Works in conjunction with Integration and Test team lead, as well as GRM developers, to provide support across multiple company sponsored programs and projects

  • Develop software using C/C++ in a RHEL Linux environment

  • Design and implement software for large-scale command and control systems

  • Troubleshoot and report software anomalies

  • Work in a team environment

  • Apply agile development practices and techniques to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and schedules

  • Leads design, technical, and programmatic meetings, and resolves issues

  • Develops and reviews integrated technical and programmatic documentation

  • Complete all initial and annual training requirements and disclosures as outlined by BSTG

  • Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives and responsibilities of the department

Required Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a BS OR 12+ years of relevant experience with an AA/AS

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with programming languages including C/C++ Experience with RedHat Linux or similar operating systems

  • Experience writing scripts (i.e shell scripting, Python, etc.)

  • Object-oriented software development

  • Excellent verbal / written communication and organizational skills

  • Team-oriented personality

  • Experience with C2 or TTC systems and concepts; Satellite Ground Systems, Ground System Operations, or Satellite Operations

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Neptune or OSComet Ground Application Development

  • GIT software version control systems

  • Prior Military and or Federal Agency experience desired

  • QT, Boost, XML

  • Agile software development

  • Multi-threaded software programming

  • Satellite ground systems or satellite command and control

  • C2MS/GMSEC Integration

  • Virtualization technologies (i.e. VMWare, AWS, OpenStack, etc)

  • Familiarity with web technologies (examples: HTML, CSS, React, REST, JSON, WildFly, etc.)

  • Familiarity with messaging servers (examples: ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, WebSphereMQ, ZeroMQ, GMSEC, etc.)

  • Experience interacting with databases (examples: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)

Security Clearance Requirements: None required to start, but must have ability to obtain TS/SCI.

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $142,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401K.
