Job Description:
Our company is searching for a Integration and Test engineer who can participate in system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews to establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program risks and obtain solutions to include allocation of resources. An ideal candidate will support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule, and cost constraints. All system/applications will be held in compliance mandated by the Department of Defense (DoD) and applicable guidelines.

Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult issues associated with specific projects
Execute enterprise-level test development, planning, and execution for system-level requirements verification
Support system-level analysis and simulation activities to ensure end-to-end performance
Support test activities, deficiency reporting, and test report generation
Test ground control systems (computers, network, and ground antenna) performance, perform trending analysis, and provide real time resolution of problems to avoid and/or minimize downtime
Assist in ground control system restore, fault isolation, and system maintenance actions as required
Execute test procedures for simulated spacecraft commanding and State of Health, maneuver and mission activities to include mission planning and scheduling
Assist in the updating of test procedures, processes, and documentation
Assist in the installation, verification and test of new hardware and associated software/firmware versions as it pertains to computer systems and communications and networks
Install, upgrade, and replace ground control system components ensuring coordinated engineering field change
Participate in risk mitigation test activities
Complete all initial and annual training requirements and disclosures as outlined by Parsons
Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the department
Required Education and Experience
Associate degree or 5+ years’ experience in Software and/or System Engineering, Design, and Integration
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of modeling and simulation capabilities
Knowledge of software lifecycles and test methodologies
Hands-on experience developing hardware, software system specifications and interface control documentation
Familiarity with Object Oriented design, Relational Databases and Microsoft products
Ability to work in a team environment; provide constructive alternatives/approaches to solving issues; be flexible; have a strong sense of urgency for critical tasks; and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating process
Experience and working knowledge of spacecraft and ground simulators, data processing, storage, network and crypto
Experience working in a satellite operational environment
Working knowledge of Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding (TT&C) and ground control system applications
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to identify system issues and provide technical advice
Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
Knowledge of secure configuration management techniques. (e.g., Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), cybersecurity best practices on cisecurity.org).
Knowledge of AF and DoD information technology (IT) risk management policies, requirements and procedures
Familiar with configuration management, quality assurance and test practices/tools
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred experience and qualifications:
Preferred knowledge in Air Force Antenna testing and integration
Previous DoD experience
Previous experience with DoD classified and unclassified networks
Security Clearance Requirements:
Clearable or active Secret security clearance to start (or used within the past 2 years) with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
US Citizenship is required

Salary Range:
$56,900.00 - $118,000.00
