Performs a variety of engineering tasks related to product development such as the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Interprets and implements customer specifications and documents requirements and provides support for modification of existing product lines. Specifically, this position will focus on the development of a quick-turn, in-house additive manufacturing capability for the design and fabrication of 3D printed electronics.
Tasking to include:
3D CAD and drafting of mechanical/electrical components and assemblies
Fabricating, assembling and qualifying 1st article engineering prototypes
Setting-up, operating and optimizing manufacturing equipment/processes
Successful candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering (or related technical field)
Experience with aerosol-jet printing, specifically using Optomec systems
Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in additive manufacturing, electronics packaging, or microelectronics assembly
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
