This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community. The Electronics Packaging Engineer will work as a part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team to design, fabricate, test, and evaluate electro-mechanical devices or systems. Specifically, this position will focus on the development of a quick-turn additive manufacturing capability for the design and fabrication of 3D printed electronics using aerosol-jet printing.
We are focused on providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities. Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM/ technical field along with 1-4 years of experience
Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Experience working in additive manufacturing, electronics packaging, or microelectronics assembly would be a plus
Experience with aerosol-jet printing, specifically using Optomec systems, would be a plus
Experience setting-up, operating and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (e.g. machining, soldering, etc.)
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
