Perform as the Facility Security Officer Lead. Responsible for implementing and monitoringall aspects of the National Industrial Security Program ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) And the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s) are implemented to prevent unauthorized disclosure of classified information.Manage classified government contract programs and provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of a cleared facility, including oversight of the personnel, information, and physical and security awareness fields. Lead self-inspections to confirm current compliance status and work with stakeholders to determine a mitigation strategy for instances of non-compliance. Interact with internal and external customers or government security officials to perform security duties, including DSS and IC inspections and assessments, define requirements, and monitor progress to secure approval of FCLs and secure spaces. Interface with customer-facing staff leadership to ensure security services support strategy aligns with leadership-defined business strategy and define and present compliance status and risks and mitigation strategies to senior security leadership.


  • TS with SCI Eligibility Required PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate degree or professional certification and 6-9 years of related work experience. Plans, develops, and assists in the development of projects/activities concerned with uniquely difficult or diverse problems. SKILLS/COMPENTENCIES: Technical Knowledge: Position requires an advanced knowledge and understanding of the classified information protection measures of various government agencies including DOD, and ICD’s and others. A comprehensive understanding of Project policies, plans, and procedures is required. Experience in a regulatory environment is beneficial. Should be trained or have working experience in the conduct of inquiries of security concern and root cause analysis. PC/Automation Skills: In addition to standard office software the individual must maintain knowledge skills of government security software such as JPAS, DIAS, SIMS and others that may be implemented in the future. Analytical/Problem Solving Skills: Conduct specialized performance tests of existing security systems to determine performance as designed and to ensure performance meets the intended purpose (classified material control, security education, COMSEC, OPSEC, classification management, marking, physical security of secure areas, accredited information systems, self inspections, personnel security, TEMPEST, TSCM, Written Verbal Communications Skills: Position requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and be able to use a personal computer for word processing, spreadsheets, and database software as required. Independently plans and conducts assignments, providing deliverables with little supervision under strict guidelines.
