Job Description:
The Program Manager will leverage client specific knowledge and network to lead, plan, and manage a large and complex program. Candidate will have full authority and access to corporate resources to drive program to completion within schedule and budgetary constraints. Candidate will provide oversight to the identification, evaluation, and delivery of key program technologies. Candidate will be responsible for developing fast turn and Quick Reaction Capability proposals and successfully resourcing and executing them.
Additionally, the Program Manager is responsible for:
Managing all aspects of the contract to include schedules, staffing requirements, and deliverables
Working with the Parsons proposal team to develop schedules and ensure resources are available to support the delivery of proposals
Assisting with the development of proposals from capture to delivery
Managing program risks and develop comprehensive risk-management processes for the project
Planning and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them
Developing in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies
Coordinating with corporate support functions to ensure successful program execution
Establishing the program requirements for all areas of the project; monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria
Planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project
Mobilizing company resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
Working with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of the project; ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans
Monitoring and reporting to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule
Required Education & Certifications:
Master's Degree in Business, International Relations, Program Management, or related field. Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for the master's degree.
Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute
Required Experience:
15+ years of relevant experience
Program Management experience with DoD Government Customers.
Experience managing programs with significant size and complexity
Experience performing work responsibilities listed above
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
