Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
The Missile Software Engineer will play an active role in the assessment and evaluation of all aspects of the SM3 missile software as well as the interfaces and communications between the missile and the Aegis Weapons System. A limited amount of travel will be required and should expect to attend all planning, preparation, execution and post test evaluation for both ground and flight tests.
Role Responsibilities: This individual is responsible to the technical assessment of SM3 missile software as it relates to the Aegis Weapons System in the execution of the Missile Defense Mission. Candidate is responsible for evaluating post and pre mission assessments as they relate to the SM3 family of missiles and providing technical recommendations to the Program Chief Engineer and Program Manager. Should expected to participate in budget planning and schedule development.
Bachelor's degree and typically 5+ years of related professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related technical field
5+ years of experience in software engineering
Active Secret Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
