We are looking for Senior Engineers to support system development and test efforts for the United States Navy in Dahlgren, Virginia. The Senior Systems Engineer will provide full lifecycle engineering design and development support in a team environment. In this position you will support all aspects of the system development lifecycle to include design, development and test while working collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure high-quality product delivery

Parsons Engineers analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. The successful candidate will review system architecture, and select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance, as well as test and debug related products. Ten (10) years of experience in engineering and systems engineering applied to Navy/Joint warfighting systems;
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in solving complex technical problems in the design, development, and system integration cycle, Test and Evaluation, power and cooling solutions, command and control architectures, digital and analog systems, signal generation related to environment, Radar Systems Engineering Principles, and control systems with the platform;
Demonstrated experience with systems engineering processes regarding weapon systems requirements/concept development, weapons systems design/engineering, systems computer program development, integration, test, and certification processes (safety and system), information assurance, safety and engineering requirements, model based system engineering, simulation development, and ability to use and populate model based system engineering tools (Magic Draw, Doors, etc);
Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university in engineering, mathematics or physics.
U.S. citizen with a minimum of a SECRET Clearance
Demonstrated knowledge or experience use of military standards/instructions, interface development, architectures, states & modes, functional flow diagrams, and engagement sequencing;
Demonstrated knowledge or experience with requirements definition, traceability, verification, generation of system performance, system specifications, system architecture development (functional, physical, behavioral), and definition of system interfaces, conducting system trade studies, and generation of functional requirements;
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with developing, designing, integrating, maintaining and testing Electronic Warfare Navy/Marine Corp systems;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering;
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with Modeling and Simulation of related threats, EW systems, and engagement methodologies/kill chains;
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with combat system integration and system architecture;
Five (5) years of professional experience in research, development, test and evaluation.
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF)
Electronic Warfare experience
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
