Parsons is now hiring an experienced Engineer who can apply advanced engineering techniques and supervise a team of Engineers and Designers.

We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, teamoriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills. In this role you will supervise a group of five or more Engineers and design personnel, usually in one discipline, by directing technical engineering assignments and coordinating project staffing. You will help to define scope of work, design criteria, schedule, standards, and procedures for project assignments. Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier client or constructions site locations is expected.

Responsibilities:

Confirm, approve and audit the plans and procedures in relation to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing of facilities.

Establish strategies for the commissioning activities and establish a 'Testing and Commission Plan Guidelines and Standard forms' covering all project phases and all project objects.

Review, Approve, and audit projects commissioning plans and procedures from Contractors in addition to HSSE procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out, to ensure the safety of personnel during pre-commissioning and commissioning.

Evaluate program requirements for all commissioning activities for Lusail and the Contractors and oversee system completion and functional testing

Understands the use and operation of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and the application of such to controls for lighting and HVAC equipment control and scheduling

Work closely with the QA/QC Manager to ensure the Contractors have adequate Quality Assurance procedures for commissioning activities and Contractors are following those procedures

Work closely with the Contractors, vendors and suppliers in resolution of technical problems and to ensure that identified deficiencies are repaired and update as to actual site conditions.

Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and quality is acceptable.

Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise.

Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)

15+ years of related work experience

Professional Engineer registration is required

Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required

Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
