Parsons is hiring Contracts Coordinator to our team to support Transportation/construction projects in Canada, including the Edmonton Valley Line West LRT in Edmonton Alberta. We would be looking for a person to relocate or live in/near Edmonton.

The Edmonton Valley Line West LRT project is a 14-km long line extension of the soon to be in service Valley Line in downtown Edmonton, Alberta. The scope of work generally includes complex staging; new facilities such as stations, OMSF, storage facility, and stops; elevated guideway; new structures; systems and communications installation; trackwork; testing and commissioning; and all other civil works associated with the scope. It is the first LRT extension project using low-floor vehicle technology in Western Canada and will be a landmark LRT endeavour after the 5-year construction term. The unique project challenges, such as cold weather climate and integration with an in-service LRT line, offers team members future career opportunities in the robust transit portfolio of the City of Edmonton and other similar program

Contract Management Coordinator

The Contract Management Coordinator will report to the Contract Manager and assist with all aspects of the administration of the Prime Contract with a focus on change management and administration of Relief and Supervening Events.



  • 5+ years of Prime Contract contracts, change or commercial administration, coordination and/or management on a Major Project construction team

  • Some field/site-based experience

  • Contractor-side experience

  • Post-secondary degree

  • Experience in P3, Design-Build-Finance, or EPC Prime Contracts

  • Ability to work in Canada


  • Work with design, technical and construction teams to identify and manage change in accordance with the Prime Contract

  • Administer change interfaces with key designers and subcontractors

  • Draft formal contractual notices to client, subcontractors, and other third parties as required

  • Research, analyze and develop positions on contractual entitlement for presentation to the Contract Manager

  • Support and mentor design, technical and construction teams in contractual awareness and change management

  • Coordinate cost and schedule analysis for Change, Relief and Supervening Events

  • Monitor notice and response timelines, and coordinate project team inputs to ensure compliance

  • Mentor junior administrators and coordinators in contractual awareness and functions

  • Degree in the fields of construction, engineering, legal, quantity surveying, or business administration

  • Prime Contract experience with JV Contractors

  • Administration of third-party Design Agreements

  • Infrastructure and/or Rail design and construction phase experience
