Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Buildings Field Coordinator to join our team! Parsons Inc. The ESDC Coordinator will assist the ESDC Manager by compiling the project information into a central location and ensure all stakeholders (i.e. EORs, Designers,) are kept informed of proposed changes to design and that approvals and non-conformances are followed up on in a timely manner.
What You'll Be Doing:
General ESDC management and coordination
Management and coordination of Field Review Monitors
Coordination of Site Queries (SQs) and issuance of Field Change Directives (FCDs)
Coordination of Design Development Change Record (DDCR) requests
Coordination of Construction Submittals for review by Design team members
Coordination of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Incorporation of design changes (FCDs) in the Final Design
Preparation and issuance of Record Drawings
Coordination of construction turnover and issuance of Construction Certificates by the Professionals of Record
Regular ESDC coordination meetings
Supports the ESDC Manager in day-to-day ESDC activities, including:
To facilitate timely review of construction-phase submittals and queries
To facilitate timely review and disposition of non-conformance reports
To facilitate timely delivery of redlines and construction turnover records
To coordinate in the administration of construction-phase Design Service Agreements
To track and report on ESDC metrics
To coordinate with Field Review Monitors on upcoming and ongoing scope in the field
To support in overall ESDC cost tracking, variances, trends and forecasting
To support in the identification and mitigation of project risks
To support in the review and approval of timesheets and invoices
To support in the development of ESDC workflows, processes and procedures
To support in the training and education of the project team to align with plans, procedures and policies
Acts as an interface between Design and Construction to support the project team in achieving project completion goals – on time, under budget, to the required quality.
Encourages project team members to adhere to established plans, procedures and policies.
Regularly attends ESDC, design coordination and technical working group meetings.
Develops close working relationship with Field Review Monitor to assist in coordination and resolution of field level technical issues.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, professional registration with APEGA as an EIT an asset
1+ years of related experience is required, LRT experience an asset
Broad general technical and business background, exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
Good knowledge of industry standards
