Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement team on the Edmonton Valley Line West LRT project.
The Edmonton Valley Line West LRT project is a 14-km long line extension of the soon to be completed Valley Line in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role is site-based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Responsibilities:
This role will work with various project technical experts to deliver the following:
Competitive Procurement:
Curation of qualified bidder lists
Completion of bidder pre-qualifications
Preparation of detailed packages for RFQ/RFPs,
Issuance of RFQ/RFPs via Aconex
Preparation and issuance of responses to RFIs
Analysis of bid submissions with Award recommendation
Post-award negotiation as required
Post-award contract formulation using project templates for the following:
Material supply
Equipment supply
Others as assigned by the Procurement Manager
Purchasing:
Assist with the purchasing of site services and materials as required.
Employment in a similar role on a large infracture project
LRT experience will be considered an asset
EPC experience will be considered an asset
High volume, technical RFQ/RFP production will be considered an asset
Field Purchasing using a standard Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order process tied to Limits of Authority (LoA)
Contract negotiation skills
Strong computer knowledge Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Aconex experience will be considered an asset
JDE experience will be considered an asset
SCMP designation will be considered an asset
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration (or related field work experience) and typically 8+ years of related work experience.
