As a Sr. Drainage Project Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate technical excellence in drainage design techniques, lead a team of engineers and designers, and be a thought leader delivering complex projects, without sacrificing schedule and budget. Your knowledge of the Alberta Ministry of Transportation's design methods, goals and objectives will be instrumental in helping us win new work and execute projects to the clients' satisfaction. As a 'doer-seller', you will assist our BD team in identifying new project opportunities involving drainage and hydrology considerations throughout Canada, be instrumental in developing proposals and help us win that work. Once awarded, you will oversee the execution of drainage design projects. Our Sr. PM's plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them, as well as coordinate projects through all phases of project inception, programming, design, construction and closeout.
15+ years of related project execution and/or program management experience in drainage projects for transportation, that involve large scope design and construction. Experience with Design/Build project is required.
The incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background and direct experience with Alberta Ministry of Transportation.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution, a graduate engineering degree is preferred
P. Eng. registration in Alberta Canada is required
Ability and willingness to travel to support client and project teams, as projects dictate
