Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Estimator to join our team! In this role you will get to apply your analytical skills and expertise in electrical systems and general construction to perform detailed estimations, ensuring the success and competitiveness of construction projects.
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform detailed analysis of all project or RFP (Request for Proposal) documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding and accurate estimation.
Utilize Trimble Accubid software for all electrical estimation tasks.
Employ CostWorks RS Means for additional cost estimating when necessary.
Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) for clear subcontractor guidance.
Ensure compliance with NEC, UFGC, UFC and all other codes and specifications in your estimates.
Apply your extensive knowledge in electrical systems throughout the estimating process.
Conduct site visits as part of the estimation process, with some travel required.
Develop detailed resource costs to ensure project profitability.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Equivalent Industry Experience
3+ years related estimating experience – US DoD Construction project preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Trimble Accubid, and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with CostWorks RS Means is beneficial but not essential.
Capability to prepare detailed BOMs and SOWs is highly valued.

Salary Range:
$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
