Parsons is now hiring a Cyber Security Engineer with the desire to create innovative, practical solutions to support cyber security and space projects. You will be responsible for the security and protection of key government systems.

We need our Cyber Security experts to exhibit exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills while being versatile and enthusiastic when working in a highly flexible team-oriented environment.
Interfaces with customers, managers, and other leads to gather requirements, recommend solutions, provide status, and manage issues/requests;
Assists in planning and implementation of cloud migrations;
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and leads IPT efforts, when appropriate;
Develops and implements information security procedures, system security plans, and POA&Ms for the operation of networked and standalone classified computers systems, as well as coordinating government agency approvals/accreditations;
Facilitates Cyber Task Order (CTO) actions and other vulnerability remediations across mission systems; facilitates reporting mission systems cybersecurity statuses
Reviews and contributes to Authority to Operate (ATO) packages;
Consults on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified and CUI computing systems;
Identifies security vulnerabilities and needed security protection measures;
Ensures systems security engineering requirements that satisfy protection needs are implemented through the systems; engineering process and tested through formal test events
Assesses emerging threats and incorporates security review/response in requirements/design;
Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations;
Implements security measures including intrusion detection and prevention, software, and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
5+ years of experience as a technical contributor (preferably lead) in DoD or Intelligence Community engineering program or cybersecurity operations center
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) methods
Experience performing the job responsibilities above
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent IAM Level 3 certification (CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
5+ years of experience on DoD or Intelligence Community related programs.
5+ years of experience in systems architecture
Experience with DoD System Security and Anti-Tamper (AT) engineering
Graduate level education in systems engineering work in systems engineering and program management related field of study
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
