Job Description:
As an engineer on our team, you’ll work with Parsons colleagues and partners and the U.S. Space Force to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. You Have:
3+ years of experience supporting design, integration and test of spacecraft and integration onto launch vehicles for a space-related Major Defense Acquisition Program
Experience analyzing launch vehicle interfaces, environments, accommodations, CONOPs and schedules to identify and inform on risks and impacts on integrated mission performance
Experience coordinating and supporting launch site processing, planning, integration, and test, and launch execution
Experience reviewing drawings, documents, and procedures for hardware design, manufacturing, integration, program planning and execution, and providing comments and recommendations
Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter-service support agreements
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, milestone reviews, and requirements verification, and provide technically based recommendations
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports and mitigation plans, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline
Nice If You Have:
Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems
Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP)
Clearance:
