Parsons is now hiring a Field Project Manager with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions while acting as a client representative. In this role you will: manage all onsite activities for a small project, or a subtask of a larger project, in accordance with the project schedule. This includes directing and coordinating subcontractor activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. Serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all site activities related to assigned area(s) of responsibility. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your experience as a client rep at a field level will propel your career and leadership opportunities forward. We need our Field Project Managers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Team Lead and Subcontractors to establish project schedule and budget, and monitors progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements.
Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables.
Chairs meetings; prepares and submits summary of project progress and pending issues.
Documents and executes changes in scope of project.
Anticipates problems and works with architects/engineers and subcontractors identify and implement corrective actions.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or graduate degree from an accredited college or university in architecture; construction management; or civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering; or possession of current state registration as an architect or engineer
10+ years related work experience is required
Knowledge of the construction industry as it relates to the planning processes for design and construction of new facilities.
Ability to oversee and coordinate projects, including planning, organizing, and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance and feedback.
Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret design and construction documents and technical reports.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with managers, peers, subordinates, and contractors in the field.
Ability to work with, interpret and apply National and Local Codes (e.g., OSHA, building).
Knowledge of architecture, engineering, and building construction sufficient to review and inspect repair and alteration work and new construction of facilities.
Knowledge of facility contracting procedures, cost estimating, job site safety, project scheduling, and quality control procedures for facilities.

Salary Range:
$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
