Job Description:

Parsons Unconventional Access portfolio provides rapid response embedded hardware and software capabilities in support of Cyber Operations missions. Our specific contract efforts support development and procurement initiatives across several projects delivering focused HW/SW capability to extend our customers’ deployable intellectual property.

Parsons’ extensive experience in the cleared space, combined with your technical knowledge, will propel your career forward with an opportunity to work in an exciting unconventional access mission where our teams are focused on advancing capability and technical support for cyber operations.

Our technical teams primarily comprise Computer Scientists, Test Engineers, Embedded Software Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers with extensive experience in embedded operating systems, MCMs, FPGAs, and printed circuit board fabrication with focused skills spanning network protocols, operating systems and languages including C, Python, JavaScript, GNU tools, and Linux.

This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community. The FPGA hardware design engineer will work as part of an integrated team to formulate and define solutions utilizing a strong background in wireless and communication foundations. We are focused on providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities. Parsons provides a unique opportunity to be involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interaction on a team that is focused on developing superior products and encouraging the career growth of its members.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or computer Engineering and 12 years' experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering

  • If no degree, an additional 5 years' hardware design engineering experience may be substituted.

This position requires a hardware design engineer for the following tasking:

  • FPGA design (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice). Good Knowledge of tool flow.

  • Functional Simulation experience - Modelsim, Xilinx, Altera

  • Designing Simulation Testbenchs'

  • Formal Verification (Conformal software)

  • Revers engineering

  • TCL and Python experience is a plus

  • Version Control tools such as GIT are a plus

Salary Range:

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
