Job Description:

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge in the field of big data analytics? Do you have experience leveraging Python and scripts to work with both structured and unstructured data to develop automated analytic solutions? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Data Analyst with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives; perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic initiatives.

  • Can explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily-understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Educate and mentor on how to effectively use and interpret data, ensuring users can independently derive insights and make informed decisions.

  • Provide expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making processes; continuously monitor and refine models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib) and big data technologies (e.g., Pandas, Spark).

  • Capable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, with minimal guidance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data analytics

  • Strong proficiency in Python, working with structured and unstructured data with the ability to automate data processing and analysis tasks.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills for tracking requests and project fulfillment

  • Active DoD Top Secret-level security clearance with SCI eligibility

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance

  • Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer

  • Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations

  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques

  • Proficient in SQL

  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
