Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman Electrician to join our Fort Liberty Fire Alarm Team! This role is key to many current and upcoming Fire Alarm and Mass Notification installation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of electrical trade functions for the installation, maintenance, or repair of Fire Alarms and Mass Notification equipment.

• Work involves the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of Life Safety equipment such as Fire Alarm Control Panels, MNS Panels, controllers, circuit breakers, conduit systems, or other equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.

• Electrical Journeyman’s license required.

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
