Parsons is seeking you - a masterful technical wizard who seeks a desire to focus on soup to nuts cyber project management and coordination - to completely own applied research and experimentation projects and ensure their success by doing whatever it takes to achieve that success.
You'll be engineering projects that will develop and implement next-generation CNO tools, systems, and capabilities to help revolution the cyber battlefield and ensure the superiority of our cyber forces over our adversaries. You'll coordinate with external entities, work with our administrators and engineers to ensure ample support, work with developers to build and modify the required software, support testers to ensure the mission effect is achieved, and utilize your technical expertise throughout the entire process to ensure everything is accomplished in a sound and secure manner.
Some tasks include:
Evaluates, develops,and delivers technical input to the systems engineering process
Develops technicaldocumentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
Interacts with theGovernment regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and forassociated problems, issues, or conflicts
Oversees the technicalintegrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the SystemsEngineering area of responsibility
Communicates with otherprogram personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
Guides systemdevelopment and implementation planning through assessment or preparation ofsystem engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Analyzes complexinformation and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems
Provides engineeringguidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationshipswith other Government agencies and mission partners
Delivers briefings oncomplex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers
Works complex researchprojects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team
Designs and delivers solutions
Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Engineer
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline
Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification or accredited system engineering certification from International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE))
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communications skills
