Job Description:

Ready to put your newly learned electrical skills to work on complex projects? Would you enjoy working on a wide variety of electrical projects? Would you enjoy being a road warrior and travel? Parsons is now hiring an SCA-Electrician Apprentice.


  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

  • Graduate or currently registered in an apprenticeship program registered with a state apprenticeship agency that is recognized by Department of Labor.


  • Projects are in multiple sites across the United States with 100% travel required.

  • Assist journeyman in the planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of wiring, electrical devices, equipment, and control systems in accordance with plans, specifications, codes and industry standards

  • Bend and install conduit and pull wire.

  • Minor digging trenches for running underground electrical pipe (conduit)


  • Must be able to pass a NACI background investigation

  • Must possess driver's license with a clean driving record to permit driving of company vehicles

  • Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs. and able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.

  • Apprentice-level top helpers should have at least 2 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience

  • Work is regularly performed in outdoor weather conditions or other elements where temperatures can exceed extreme conditions.

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communications


  • OSHA 30 card

  • CPR/First Aid card

  • NFPA 70E Certificate
