Job Description:

Imagine yourself working on top level critical network defense missions to protect national security and inform national leaders alongside other seasoned intelligence community professionals. Parsons is hiring a team of Electronic Signals Intelligence (ELINT) analysts to work closely with a USARPAC customer in Honolulu, HI with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges.


ELINT Analysts supporting a technical mission office analyze signals from various sources, including foreign communications, radar and other electronic systems in efforts to discover, analyze, and exploit advanced signals data to aid Department of Defense initiatives to protect U.S. forces. The selected individual will work in a dynamic environment with duties that can include the following:

  • Identify and analyze electromagnetic signals in different domains (e.g., weapon systems, communications systems)

  • Identify and analyze bitstream data and network traffic (e.g., multiplexers, error correction, voice and video compression, instrumentation systems)

  • Identify and analyze network protocols (e.g., link layer, network layer, application layer)

  • Conduct analysis using techniques, tradecraft, databases, and tools including MIST, GALE5, ASPEN, CED.

  • Contribute to the production of tactical and strategic serialized ELINT reporting using industry tools and data sets

  • Identify, map, and expand target networks for additional exploitation opportunities

  • Applicants will be expected to develop accurate signal chronologies and determine relationships between related signals in a collaborative team setting on site with the customer based in Honolulu, HI. This position offers multiple shift opportunities.


  • 2+ years of experience with signal analysis, Bachelor's degree, will consider experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to perform network, access, and target development for threat warning

  • Broad general knowledge of the USARPAC's intelligence mission, and full knowledge of the intelligence collection issues for ELINT mission subject areas to develop innovative, discipline-specific collection requirements to address and close intelligence gaps.

  • Detailed knowledge of various ELINT collection sensors, platforms, concepts, principles, practices, and sources within collection disciplines, including associated collection strategies and tasking procedures.

  • Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytical skills, including ability to brief senior leadership

  • Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Active US Passport

  • NOTE: Hiring for multiple shifts

Preferred Experience

  • Relevant military training: 9141 (Navy Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 1N2A (Air Force Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 451/461 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis)

  • Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP), Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESAP), or Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP), Military ELINT Signals Analyst Program (MESAP) Certification

  • EW Advanced Applications Course

  • Electronic Warfare Officer Course

  • Experience with the INDOPACOM AOR and regional targets

  • Experience with ELINT, COMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and HUMINT discipline functionality

  • Digital Network Analysis Course

  • SASMO (SIGINT Analyst Support for Military Operations) or GEO Bootcamp

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
