Are you a computer system expert looking to support the installation, configuration and operation of mission critical systems? If so, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support technically diverse and challenging systems that are constantly evolving as the technology landscape changes. Your role will be essential to the operations, maintenance, validation, management, and delivery of Parsons developed software and computing systems. This is your chance to help us with this vital mission.
*This position will split time between Hickam AFB and US Army Fort Shafter, with occasional opportunities to work from home as well.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Security, Information Technology or related discipline
5+ years of relevant professional experience. Will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills
TS / SCI security clearance
Experience with Network Analysis
Familiarity with common network protocols and analysis of those protocols
DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, TCP, UDP, SIP, SMB
Experience with IT Administration
Linux OS loading and repository on a closed network
Backup and restore implementation
Windows and Linux software repository and build machine maintenance
User account administration
Enforce IT equipment usage policy
Server, data storage, workstation, laptop configuration and server setup
Experience with VM and Cloud Computing Administration
Virtual Machine administration (VMWare ESXI / VSphere, Virtual Box, KVM)
Cloud computing (Openstack, Salt)
Computer and disk server administration
Experience with Network Device Administration
Switch with VLAN configuration
Router with routing protocols (RIP, BGP, OSPF)
VPN (IPSEC) configuration
L3 Switch (VLAN and Routing Protocols)
SOHO device configuration
Experience with Cyber Security
DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) scan and remediation lock down implementation
Computer security certification scans
Access Control Lists and IP Table configuration
Full time, on-customer-site required.
