Are you a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Professional with Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Electro-Optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), Full Motion Video (FMV), or Geospatial Engineer experience? Parsons is now hiring a GEOINT EO / SAR Analyst with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for analyzing overhead and aerial imagery. Provide teams with critical information about enemy forces, potential battle areas, and combat operations support
Provide analysis and research of industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerabilities
Prepare assessments of current events based on the collection, research, and analysis of classified and open source information
Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure operational mission compliance
Collect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes
Support a team of intelligence analysts and interface with the government customer on deliverables, requirements, and GEOINT products
Analyze overhead and aerial imagery developed by photographic and electronic means to provide critical information about enemy forces, potential battle areas and combat operations support.
Perform quality control of GEOINT reports before release
Analyze imagery from satellites, remotely piloted vehicles and other sources
Exploit and analyze multi-sensor imagery and geospatial data
Analyze terrain and structures to determine usability and possible threats
Utilize maps to determine locations and distance from targets
Compile and maintain imagery and target data
Conduct exploitation, development, and distribution of geospatial intelligence products to support customer missions
Prepare maps, charts, reports, and geo-spatial intelligence
Analysis of fixed/moving target indicators
Plan overhead and aerial imagery collections
NOTE: Hiring for multiple shifts
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
2+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis
Detailed knowledge of various GEOINT collection sensors, platforms, and sources within collection disciplines, including associated collection strategies and tasking procedures for Electro-Optical (EO) Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR)
Detailed knowledge of a wide range of GEOINT concepts, principles, and practices, and its sub-disciplines, policy, operations, tasking, and procedures to process, analyze, and report intelligence findings based upon theater and national tasking
Detailed knowledge of targeting principals associated with GEOINT platforms, publicly available information, and open source networks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize intelligence products for senior leader briefings
Valid US Passport
Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility
Preferred Skills
Previous experience working GEOINT analytical support with a focus on VEO INDOPACOM threat is highly preferred
Prior service Army Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst (35G)
Experience supporting USARPAC GEOINT Intelligence analysis
Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and or operations
Working knowledge of GEOINT sub-disciplines to include Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Full Motion Video (FMV), non-imaging infrared and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)
Knowledge of Socet GXP, IEC, NES, ENVI, AGITK, eTPR, VAP, Cedalion, ArcGIS and ESRI tools and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing
