Job Description:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Seasoned professional in the job family.

This is the level of full competence that all professionals are expected to achieve in the function. It is sometimes called the journey-level.

Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BS degree and typically 5+ years of related professional experience. (NOTE: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.) Non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines established for designated job family.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provides research and analysis to support intelligence organizations. Analyses may include IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT, or All-Source.

  • Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the USFK Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).

  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs.Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons and acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.).

  • Researches threat assessments to support the Commander and other senior leadership as well.

  • May support development and analysis of intelligence products. Presents analyses or products to clients.

  • May support policy and procedure development for agency, interagency, or community-wide support.

  • May focus on domestic as well as international threats.

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
