Are you a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Engineer that provides analysis and research concerning industry, infrastructure, technology, country data, and geographic areas to find biographic and targeted vulnerabilities? Do you have experience with INDOPACOM? Can you create a comprehensive GEOINT product that combines Imagery, Imagery Intelligence, and Geospatial information to satisfy specific Essential Elements of Information (EEI), Requests for Information (RFI), and ad-hoc requirements? Parsons is now hiring a Geospatial Engineer with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect, analyze, and distribute geospatial information to represent the terrain and its possible effects.

Use geographic data that supports military/civilian operations for disaster relief, homeland security, and military/intelligence operations.

Extract geographic data from satellite imagery, aerial photography, field reconnaissance, and sea-based platforms.

Create geographic data and compile them into maps.

Help commanders and staff officers visualize the battlefield and advise them on topographic operations and special map product planning.

Create and maintain multiple geospatial databases, prepare military-style briefs covering all aspects of the terrain, and provide teams with critical information about enemy forces, potential battle areas, and combat operations support.

Note: Shift Work Required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in related field, or 3 years relevant experience with a Masters in related field, or no experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.

5 years' experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis.

Detailed knowledge of various GEOINT collection sensors, platforms, and sources within collection disciplines, including associated collection strategies.

Detailed knowledge of a wide range of GEOINT concepts, principles, and practices, and its sub-disciplines, policy, operations, tasking, and procedures to process, analyze, and report intelligence findings based upon theater and national tasking.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize intelligence products for senior leader briefings.

Valid US Passport.

Active DoD TS collateral clearance with SCI eligibility.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Prior service Army Geospatial Engineer (12Y).

Excels in producing professional map products, interpreting spatial data, and developing powerful visualizations.

Design and develop GIS applications for internal use and client deliverables.

Previous experience working GEOINT analytical support with a focus on VEO INDOPACOM threat is highly preferred.

Experience supporting USARPAC GEOINT Intelligence analysis.

Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and or operations.

Working knowledge of GEOINT sub-disciplines to include Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Full Motion Video (FMV), non-imaging infrared and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR).

Knowledge of Socet GXP, IEC, NES, ENVI, AGITK, eTPR, VAP, Cedalion, ArcGIS and ESRI tools and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing.

Experience with mission planning, aerial imagery, data acquisition, structure-from-motion mapping, terrain modeling, volumetric analysis, vegetation mapping, and natural resource management.

Ability to create products ready for integration into CAD and GIS for mapping and spatial analysis.

Familiarity with GPS ground control (PPK/Fast Static) best practices and accuracy standards.

Aerial imagery interpretation, coordinate system/projection troubleshooting, geodatabase design and management, model building, AutoCAD data conversion, VB scripting, data overlay techniques.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
