Our extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward. We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
The Electrical Engineer will assist various project managers in the execution of their projects. The support required will vary depending on the needs of the project but can cover all aspects of computerized systems for electric metering, HVAC controls, and supervisory control systems. It may also include single phase and three phase power systems, lighting upgrades, substation replacement or modifications, building distribution systems, transformers, generators, and UPS. Most of this work is on Government projects.
Uses contract documents and site survey data to design electrical solutions to meet the requirements of the contract.
Creates reports as required
Selects/specifies equipment and materials for projects
Directs draftsmen in creating drawings and reviews drawings for correctness
Provides engineering support to field personnel performing the work
Provides test plans and assists in creating test reports and reviewing test data
Attends project status meeting by phone or on site to provide project support
Interfaces to site and customer representing our interests and resolving project issues.
Prepares documentation packages for systems
Assists project manager with pricing of proposals and change orders
Some travel for coordination and field support may be required
Bachelor’sDegree in Electrical Engineering required
3+ years of experience with electricalconstruction projectsrequired
Applicants selected for employmentwill be subject to a federal background investigation and must meetadditional eligibility requirements for access to classified informationor materials.
Ability to pass a NACI backgroundinvestigation required
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite required
Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills required
Driver’s license and passport required
