We need our Developers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new challenges across the fullstack as we continue to push security forward. In this role you will work directly in an operations organization on a small, tight knit development team helping to drive the customer's computer network defense (CND) mission into the future. You'll interface directly with expert CND analysts to design and develop tools to codify their knowledge and help achieve maximal mission effect, including directly executing mission yourself to help battle harden your tools. Parsons' Software Developers designs and code software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules for clients/customers. The successful candidate will test and debug software components and units, as well as participate in system and subsystem planning. he most common languages we currently use are Python, PHP, Bash, Perl, and C++.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent certifications in computer science, web services, or related technical field preferred
Related experience in software development preferred
Solid expertise in developing web based applications
Knowledge of database abstraction layers, JSP, and J2EE
Functional understanding of sockets, UDP, TCP/IP, and other aspects of network programming
Familiar with web services
