Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Energy Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to Provide t echnical oversight of all areas of the contracts that deal with the energy calculations, standards, policies, or criteria. Perform conventional and moderately complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing t echnical oversight of all areas of the contracts that deal with the energy calculations, standards, policies, or criteria. Perform conventional and moderately complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.
Provide detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses
Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
B achelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
Fifteen (15)+ experience in energy engineering (energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and validating and executing energy conservation projects)
Three (3) years of experience in facility energy modeling and have strong background in mathematical modeling
Experience with Government or industry processes, procedures, standards, methodologies, or tools
Thorough background in DOD, Army and Federal Energy and Sustainability laws, policies, executive orders, regulations, instructions, and guidance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Professional Engineer (PE) registration
Certified Energy Managers (CEM)
