Parsons is hiring all experience levels to support recent and potential design-build Transportation wins over the next four years in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Ft. Worth, and Dallas. These projects are complex, totaling over $8B in constructed value and we are looking nationwide for engineers, designers, and drafters in various disciplines who want to advance their careers with our teams in Transportation Infrastructure .

We will be hiring Roadway Engineers, Bridge Engineers, Traffic Engineers, Drainage/Hydrology Engineers and Designers/drafters starting in June through October 2021.

Design of Roads, Highways, Interchanges, Bridges/related structures, and stormwater/drainage solutions
Perform calculations, produce and perform quality control checks on engineering data and reports specific to your discipline
Develop plans, models, and reports that serve as project deliverables
Utilize relevant software packages for computer aided drafting, engineering design and analysis specific to your discipline, e.g. MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, Geopak, StormCAD, HEC-HMS & HEC-RAS, LEAP Bridge, PGSuper, LPILE, etc.
Engineers: 4-year bachelor's degree in civil, structural, environmental engineering, hydrology/hydraulics, landscape architecture, etc. 3+ years related design experience in Transportation performing functions as listed above is required.
EIT certificates or PE licenses preferred, including the ability to obtain either. Exam fees and time to take exams are covered by Parsons. Bonuses are provided to those obtaining their first professional license.
Master's Degree for structural engineers preferred, but not required
Designers/drafters: 2-year degree technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course, or equivalent, relevant work experience preferably in transportation
