Parsons is now hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager with the following skills sets below:
Airport Runway, Taxiway, Apron and Landside Roadway Project and Construction Management
Airport Terminal Project and Construction Management are looked at favorably.
Comprehensive Knowledge of Industry Standards (FAA- FAR 139, NCDOT, ACI, ASTM, AASTO, ANSI, and ASME)
Establishment and Implementation of Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plans
Preparation and Administration of FAA Grant Applications and Monthly Reimbursement
Presentations for Briefing Stakeholders and Senior Management
Management of All Phases of Construction for Compliance with the Contract, Project Plans, and Specification
Management of Daily Construction Activities and Their Effect on the Project Schedule
Negotiate Changes in the Scope of Work with the Contractor and PReparation of Change Orders
Review, Approval, and Processing of Monthly Applications for Payment
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing. Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, presentations, for the Government, and in briefing tenants and senior personnel.
Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and other projects
Ability to manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering related technical/business field
15+ years of related engineering management experience on large scale programs
The Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.
Professional registration may also be required.
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
Our Project Managers still get very involved in the planning and designs of projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
