Parsons provides Training Support Center (TSC) TADSS technical instruction and Warehouse support to the Fort Huachuca DPTMS, Training Integration Branch. The TADSS technical instructor shall satisfy Commander’s training requirements. This includes scheduling of training to assist customers, as well as certifying individuals to operate TADSS when applicable. During instruction or operation, all applicable manuals and guidelines will apply. Upon completion of training, the Contractor shall capture utilization rates and enter data into appropriate databases or worksheets.

The TADSS technical instructor will:

  • Operate fielded TADSS simulators in a competent and proficient manner to maximize use of personnel training time on requested systems. Perform startup, operation, and shutdown IAW applicable technical publications and coordinated scheduling

  • Conduct active searches for changes and updates to equipment software. Usage specifications shall be current to ensure personnel receive most current and up to date training on fielded simulations systems

  • Train and instruct user personnel regarding proper methods of equipment operations, troubleshooting procedures, and malfunctions reporting, as well as preventative maintenance checks, services and cleaning procedures

  • Attend training on new virtual TADSS and receive sustainment training on upgrades to be certified as “train-the-trainer”

  • Prepare process drafts, correspondence, reports, and other items regarding TADSS operations and training monthly.

  • Understand and implement safety requirements in the operation of virtual TADSS

  • Assist Training Support Center Warehouse Specialists in issue, receipt, storage, accountability, loan, transfer, turn-in, packaging, and shipment support services, as needed.

  • Other responsibilities as may be appropriate for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship or US permanent residency

  • Must have an High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3 years Army or Marine Corps prior experience with demonstrated leadership in training and assessments.

  • Knowledge of the following training aids, devices, simulators and simulations: Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST II), HMMWV Egress

  • Assistance Trainer (HEAT), Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT).

  • Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

  • Must be able to perform the work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand and dust.

  • May be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Valid State Driver’s License

  • Security Clearance: Secret level

  • Knowledgeable in use of Training Support-Material Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS) is preferred.

  • Knowledgeable in the use of automated productivity software, i.e., MS Office

  • Must remain in good standing at the installation and be able to maintain installation access.
