Parsons is seeking an Advanced GMD Systems Analyst to support our MDA customer.
This position supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in developing and executing strategies and plans to assess System Capabilities and Limitations based on Missile Defense System performance and performance of its integrated elements and components.
Duties and responsibilities:
Conduct the System Performance Capability and Limitation Assessment of GMD based upon objective evidence collected from Missile Defense System (MDS) Flight Test, Ground Test, and Digital Analysis.
Lead Development of GMD Assessment Plans (APs) to help drive Assessment Requirements (ARs) for MDS Testing.
Support GMD analysis and reporting for MDS Sensor assessments, testing, and exercises.
Report GMD Capability/Limitation findings in MDA/SEG Annual Assessment Report (AAR).
Recommended GMD system level assessment performance Capabilities/Limitations Corrective Action plans and mitigation strategies.
Provide Senior Leadership with information necessary to make well-informed decisions while ensuring the GMD System Under Test is correctly characterized and performance accurately communicated.
Analyze MDS performance by understanding high-fidelity System of System models.
Provide system performance predictions from Ground Test data.
Bachelor's degree in related technical field
8+ years of related professional experience
Active Secret Clearance
Capability to develop and present briefings related to specifications and requirements to peers and senior management level personnel
Working knowledge of Modeling and Simulation tools and technique
Proficiency with MS Office
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
