Parsons is seeking a Basic Systems Analyst to support our missile defense activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace, physics, and/or math and experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and/or Data Analytics. The candidate will: collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze, visualize and document simulation outputs; analyze and document user requirements; and provide other technical and/or operational support to assigned projects. Analytical tools such as MATLAB will be used.
Responsibilities will include:
Data analysis and visualization.
Assist in production of reports and briefings.
BS degree with typically up to 2 years of related professional experience
BS in Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree program from an accredited university preferred
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Experience with data analytics
Experience with MATLAB and/or other high level languages (e.g., Python or Julia)
Knowledge or experience with machine learning is a plus.
