Opportunity:

Provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) Cybersecurity and Network Defense Director:

•Assists the Government in determining operational solutions, counter-measures, and or mitigating controls for all Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) cybersecurity for information systems including Ground Support, fire control, interceptor, and test design and execution throughout system development, testing, fielding, and sustainment.

•Develop and or conduct comprehensive studies and analysis to support in-depth problem solving related to cybersecurity, cyber risks, cyber resiliency, complex weapon system fielding, operations, test, integration, sustainment, and reporting supported with applicable documentation.

•Assists the Government in operational cybersecurity process and requirements development, cybersecurity testing, technical analysis of cyber operations, and intrusion detection development.

•Integrates cybersecurity activities for operational success by using a distributed, standards-based, risk management approach to ensure the integrity and protection of GMD cyber assets.

•Provides course of action recommendations to Senior and Executive Program Managers and the GMD Program Director.

•Advise, document and communicate technical issues with product/program managers and Integrated Product Team members related to complex weapon system fielding and test activities.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, information systems, Risk Management Framework are a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of operational experience

  • Experience in MDA with a concentration on GMD

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
