Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Defense of Guam Requirements Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will assist the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) deliver critical capabilities to support the defense of Guam by providing timely capabilities to defend one of our nation’s key strategic hubs by leading all requirements/technical baselining efforts and coordinating these efforts with MDS Elements, program offices, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support development of requirements for the defense of Guam.

  • Support Systems Engineering Milestone Reviews, boards and working level meetings by assisting in developing agendas and content, comprehending action items, and assisting in resolving issues as required, tracking actions to completion, providing meeting summaries, capturing lessons learned and any other duties as needed by the Government Customer.

  • Assist in the development of Executive level briefings, papers, and other correspondence, Support scheduled and impromptu status and communication briefs with various levels of senior leadership.

  • Support the Government Integrated Product Team by representing the interests of the Customer in working group forums, Technical Interchange Meetings, and any other forums required by the customer.

  • Coordinate technical requirements across the Defense of Guam (DoG) supporting elements and the MDA Stakeholders.

  • Use digital engineering tools (i.e. Doors, Windchill, Qlik) to communicate technical information.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field

  • 12+ years of related engineering/system engineering experience

  • Secret Clearance

  • Ability and willingness to travel, when required, to support oversight, meetings, reviews, etc.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Familiarity and experience with missile defense component development, test, production, and integration preferably with MDA engineering programs.

  • Experience with digital engineering tools (i.e. Doors, Windchill, Qlik) to communicate technical information.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal skills as well as MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver products on schedule.

  • Capability to develop and present program briefings to senior management-level personnel.

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Capable of performing as a member of a team and assisting with solving complex problems.

  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:

$110,600.00 - $219,400.00
