Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented FMS Radar Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will need strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and be capable of interfacing verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide engineering support for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) X-Band Ground Sensors Directorate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Radar ProjectOffice(SNXF).

  • Represent the program office in multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) related to radar system testing, acceptance, deployment, weapon site facility design and construction, weaponsite activation, and sustainment engineering activities.

  • ProvidesupporttoFailureReviewBoard(FRB)andCorrectiveActionactivity.

  • Providesupporttoobsolescencemanagementactivity.

  • Track software development programs, identify potential issues that will result in failure to achieve development milestones, develop and advocate courses of action for resolution ofissues.

  • Produce,reviewandmanageengineeringdocuments.Preparetechnicalandpositionpapers,engineeringbriefs,schedulesandriskmanagementdocuments.

  • Developprogramplans,planofactionandmilestone(POA&M)recommendations, andprepareexecutive levelbriefingpackagesandformaldocumentation. Preparealternative coursesof action analyses and executive level results presentations.

  • Interface with internal and external project stakeholders; FMS Weapon System Program Office, FMS Case Management Division, USACE, Foreign Liaison Officer, and industrypartners. Coordinate and manage project activities across other government agencies (OGAs).

  • Assist with the identification and resolution of complex technical issues, as well as provide potential solutions to senior members of the Project Offices, MDA, Combatant Command, andPartner Nation as it pertains to the radar production, system integration and check-out (SICO), deployment, emplacement, and tactical site operations.

  • Applydisciplinedsystemsengineeringpractices,identifyandresolvecomplexproblemsassociatedwithtechnicalperformancerequirements,systemsintegration,andperformance.

  • Travel(25%)toprimecontractorfacility,testranges,andforeignweaponsitelocations(KSA).

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
