In this role you perform conventional and moderately complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
Ability to provide test engineering support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes for developmental and operational weapon systems programs
Ability to support testing for complex weapon systems programs during developmental and operational test events including flight, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), and operational environments.
Capable of working independently and as a team member to solve analysis/engineering problems
Possess general technical and theoretical knowledge of the DoD principles of developmental and operational testing
Possess general knowledge in system engineering (verification and validation (V&V) activities of the engineering 'V'), system test and integration, strategic test planning, and process improvements.
Has a basic knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS) components and system-level topics
Experience with DoD test processes and/or test execution is desired
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 7 years of relevant experience. Experience with DoD test processes and/or test execution desired. Ability to obtain a clearance: Secret to TS/SCI.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
