Parsons is seeking a Logistics Analyst I to support the Systems Simulation Software and Integration (S3I) Directorate, Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) to develop, sustain, integrate, and test system of systems.
Parsons will provide expertise to develop, enhance, evaluate, and maintain the current suite of distributed digital simulation, and system of systems unique development facilities for the CCDC AvMC S3I Directorate, Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) / Virtual Simulators Mission Area.
S3I provides responsive development and delivery of aviation and missile total life cycle systems engineering, prototyping, cyber, software, protective technologies, and systems simulation engineering enabling delivery of solutions to the Warfighter.
Place of performance is Huntsville, Alabama.
Gathers and analyzes data on product plans and project objectives. Provides tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments.
Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.
Provides technical and/or operational support to projects and programs.
Fundamental knowledge base comes from formal education in general principles and practices of the functional area as acquired through a bachelors degree program specifically related to the function.
BA/BS degree required
0-2+ years of experience
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
