Senior Missile Simulation/Systems Engineer

Huntsville, AL

The Senior Missile Simulation/Systems Engineer will perform a variety of engineering tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of Missile Simulation systems including providing program support in an experienced team environment developing missile models and simulations and performing analysis and trade studies.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of event based and real-time simulation architectures highly desired

  • Knowledge of distributed processing / computing environments highly desired

  • Ability to provide technical leadership a plus

This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance

Education and Experience Requirements:

Position requires a BS in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of related Engineering experience. A MS Engineering degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen withan active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

Previous experience with the following is strongly preferred:

  • Control theory

  • General systems theory

  • 6-DoF simulation experience

  • Stochastic Systems

  • Dynamics

  • Signal Processing

  • Optimization Techniques

  • Numerical Techniques

  • Python

  • C/C++ MATLAB/Simulink

  • Ability to prepare technical reports and briefings

  • Ability to effectively deliver technical briefings

  • Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with both Government and contractor personnel
