Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Mission Analyst.

The Mission Analyst will provide mission analyst support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) - System Engineering Test Requirements (DE/SEF) by identifying problems crossing organizational boundaries, and promulgating solutions.

Mission Analyst Objectives:

  • Identify and manage SEF products and product schedules

  • Produce look-ahead products for SEF leadership awareness and action

  • Develop and track relevant metrics for SEF projects / missions

  • Develop "lessons learned" and "best practices" for incorporation into existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of for new SOPs.

  • Aide intra-organization schedule management

Mission Analyst Goals:

  • Eliminate need for "expedited" product approval requests (e.g. Test Objective Memos, DE Assessments)

  • Meet deadlines for milestone reviews (e.g. Test Requirements Reviews, System Design Reviews)

  • Identify bottlenecks and other obstacles to successful SEF mission execution

  • Have a response to senior MDA leadership questions regarding product status

Required Experience:

  • BS/BA degree

  • 3+ years of experience supporting MDA

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
