Parsons Corporation Program Director in Huntsville, Alabama

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Parsons is seeking a Program Director to support the Systems Simulation Software and Integration (S3I) Directorate, Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) to develop, sustain, integrate, and test system of systems.

Parsons will provide expertise to develop, enhance, evaluate, and maintain the current suite of distributed digital simulation, and system of systems unique development facilities for the CCDC AvMC S3I Directorate, Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) / Virtual Simulators Mission Area.

S3I provides responsive development and delivery of aviation and missile total life cycle systems engineering, prototyping, cyber, software, protective technologies, and systems simulation engineering enabling delivery of solutions to the Warfighter.

Place of performance is Huntsville, Alabama.


  • Initiating and setting goals for the program

  • Program planning from start to finish, including procedures, milestones and deadlines

  • Budgeting for program operations and monitoring the program to make sure it stays within budget

  • Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.

  • Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project

  • Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths

  • Proven ability for managing a large group of engineering/technical personnel

  • Directing work involving complex technical situations

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)

  • 20+ years of related work experience

  • Secret clearance
