Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Radar Hardware Engineer with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills capable of interfacing verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor.
Job Description:
Perform technical assessment and programmatic support for the MDA Ground Sensors Directorate Defense Of Guam Product Office in support of the Hardware Integrated Product Team (HW IPT)
Review documents and processes of prime contractor to ensure contractual requirements are being met
Perform Bidirectional requirement flow from element specification (ES), prime item development specification (PIDS), & hardware requirement specification (HRS)
Perform verification and validation of requirements
Travel to Prime Contractor Facility & fielded site location to support hardware manufacturing, site integration, and test.
Required Skills:
Design Implementation, Performance Analysis, and Integration and Testing of ground based radar systems; Digital Receiver Exciter (DREX) experience highly desired
Radar front end design, modeling and testing
Integration and testing of Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) system and associated subsystems
Performing radar model verification against the tactical system
EMI/EMC test and conformance
Near field and far field test experience
Experience integrating a design into an operational environment
Experience with I&Q and radar performance data analysis
Experience performing detailed radar system analysis and antenna performance
Experience with test readiness reviews (TRRs), technical interchange meetings (TIMs), technology readiness assessments and levels (TRAs/TRLs), design reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR), production readiness assessments (PRRs), manufacturing readiness assessments and levels (MRAs/MRLs), Agile Design Processes, etc.
Experience with Systems engineering processes
Experience with writing/reviewing statement of work (SOW) requirements and deliverables/objective evidence (OE) such as contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) and accessible data products (ADPs)
Competent in the MS Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel) with SharePoint experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Secret clearance required
Desired Experience:
Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures
Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
Experience/familiarity with DoD/MDA lifecycle acquisition processes and requirements
Familiar with MDA mission assurance provisions (MAP)
Familiar with different MDA directorates, such as Sensors (SN), Facilities and Deployments (FD), Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance (QS) etc.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
